This is a cute and short book. You have a fly who is hungry and enters into a school cafeteria looking to find something delicious. There is a lot of nutritious food for him to eat but of course the kids won't share and they all politely tell him "Shoo fly."
K thought the book was okay he likes the pictures and how the kids had different kinds of foods though he said he wanted more adventure from the fly and wanted it to be longer.
I though the story was good, I liked how it incorporated healthy ending but not forcing it down your throat in a way.
The story is repetitive so that is always great for younger kids especially those learning to read. I plan on reading this to A tonight at bedtime and I know she will enjoy it.
