Children's Review: The Adventures of Zoe Flynn and Alex Everhart: The Disappearing River

The Adventures of Zoe Flynn and Alex Everhart: The Disappearing River - MakeThinkers., Gail Mittan, David Mittan

We received this book to give an honest review.

I was worried K wouldn't like this book just because it is out of the normal for him. We read about a chapter a night as the adventures are pretty long. K really enjoyed the solving the riddles. I could see him actually putting some thought into them which was really nice to see. Not only do you get riddles to solve but also questions that go with the riddles. So you have to think about things.

We have Zoe and Alex who are best friends and seem to love adventures. When they learn of the sprites and the dilemma they are in with the disappearing river they decide to help them out.

I found this to be a book that the older children would probably like especially if they enjoy riddles and a sense of adventure.

There is no pictures within the book but you can use your imagination.
