NetGalley Review: Eden by Candice Fox

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review.
In this book we get the background of Hades and how he became who he is. His past is catching up to him and he enlists Frank's help in solving the one thing that has always been haunting him. We go back and forth between Hades past and the present where Eden has gone undercover to solve the mystery behind the missing girls. Frank plays a big part in this story as his feelings for Eden are somewhat on the fence he likes her but he is terrified of her. Especially since he knows her secret, Frank is also dealing with the after effects of losing someone he loved. We see how he slowly learns to cope and get the answers that Hades seeks.
Eden is still hardcore and deals with things in her own way. This time she is undercover and she seems to uncover much more than the girls, it seems there is some weird stuff happening on the farm. The closer she gets the more she is in danger and will Frank be there to help her out.
There is a bit more gore and murder than in the first book Hades which I have to say it worked for me. The only thing I would suggest for the author if it has been fixed is to ADD chapters. It gets a bit confusing just moving between the past and the present when there is no page breaks or chapters. For this I had to drop my rating to a 4 instead of the 5 I thought it deserved. I hope there is a book three as where this one left off it seems there could be one.
I thought it was a neat idea to bring Hades past into the now so we can see how he became who he is. It is something I always wondered after reading book one. The author did a great job with it.
