Review: Housebroken

Housebroken - The Behrg

I received this book to give an honest review.

So I kept starting this book and then putting it down for some reason I am not sure why but it just wasn't doing it for me. Finally last night I said to myself I am going to start reading it since the synopsis sounds good. Once I got past the first two chapters I was in it to finish it. I was intrigued to see how this was going to go. Blake and his family are taken hostage and the rules are simple you need to act like you do every day among other things. We see how the family does under pressure and for every action that Jojo doesn't like you have a consequence that may not be pretty. The descriptions are pretty vivid at times and I liked that.

I can honestly say when the big twist with Jojo came about I was like WHAT totally didn't see that coming. I was wondering why Blake and his family was targeted and not until towards the end was it made clear.

What would you do to save your family? That is the question Blake has to think about. Now his son Adam he was something different is all I can truly say. I mean the way he would interact with the kidnappers wasn't normal and when the end came to be about the gears went to turning in my head.

This is a good psychological thriller that will have you wondering what will happen next. Makes me want to be weary of all those people around me.
