NetGalley Review: Murder in Missoula

Murder In Missoula - Laurence Giliotti

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review.

When I read the blurb I really assumed this book would be up my alley to read. It took me a while to get into the book and even then at 51% in I wanted to put it down. It just was very slow pace for me and the fact that we know the killer before hand really surprised me and I was not impressed with that.

I didn't really feel anything for the characters at all as they felt very dull and just one dimensional.

I wanted more background on everything within the story from the other murders that have occurred to exactly while the serial killer that is Missoula started his killing. He seemed creepy enough but I didn't think because of the background he had as a kid would make him kill but hey who knows.

Now Nicoletti is a suspect within this case because he was the last person to see her alive and evidence points to him so it is up to him to solve this case before he gets behind bars. Now I did enjoy the fact that he never gave up and had a lot of interesting ideas as to who was behind it, but it felt predictable. The way the cops handled the case with having Nicoletti be involved was not something I was expecting and though that was very weird.

There is not really much for me to say about this book but that it may be for you as it wasn't much for me.
