Review: If You Were Me and Lived in Middle Ages

If You Were Me and Lived in...the Middle Ages (Volume 6) - Mateya Arkova, Carole P. Roman

We received this book to give an honest review.

K enjoyed the book but not as much as I thought he would. I think because it was a bit longer for him that he was starting to lose interest.

In this book we get to see how it was to live in the Middle Ages and it didn't seem to be too fun. We got to see how some people were not able to be on their own and had to work for those that owned the land. Living in the Middle Ages was hard on everyone even those that might have money because even for them they still had to answer to somebody.

You get to see the clothes that were worn to even where people slept.

The pictures are wonderful for the book and come alive as you are reading. I felt as though K and I learned a lot with this book more than I remember learning in school. There is a glossary in the back that you can use to help understand some words along with a list of famous people that lived within this time period.
