Butterfly Suicide
I received this book to give an honest review.
I was really pulled into this story from the beginning! It just screamed continue reading and don't put me down.
A shooting which involves students and those left behind are affected in some way. Yet when they look at Stephen they see a family that caused a town so much heartache will he ever snap?
Monica whose sister is one of the victims some how doesn't turn the other cheek when she sees Stephen yes it hurts her but yet she doesn't see his brother Jude in him.
When the two get paired up in theater it seems that just because there was a tragedy that hit their families their hearts still call for one another. We change different point of views between Monica and Stephen and we get to learn how they handle day to day life. Monica's home life is a wreck and she gets to witness it all. Stephen's life is no different yet he is ignored. we learn how is brother was to him and it breaks your heart. When secrets come out I literally was OMG....and I understood why Jude did what he did even though it was not right.
The author did an amazing job with character development, keeping us readers on our toes, having the tensions and reactions to how characters acted when faced with certain scenes. Overall an amazing book.
